The width of each roll of carbon belt is in millimeters. When the tension is too high, the PET film with carbon strip will be extended and damaged, and the ink layer attached to the film will react, so it will cause the quality problem of carbon strip powder, such as the printing effect is not clear, and the scattered toner will pollute the goods and other serious quality problems.

But when the cutting tension of the carbon belt is too small, the carbon belt is easy to produce wrinkles, and the printing will present white lines, indentation and other poor printing quality problems. In addition, too small tension will lead to poor quality problems such as tube core movement and carbon slippage during transportation or assembly.

The base film of the carbon strip is a PET film. In the printing process, the printer automatically stops its tension adjustment, and there will be a tensile force between the supply axis and the recovery axis. At this time, the force of the carbon strip will not be easily disconnected only when the force is average. Therefore, when rewinding the carbon strip, the carbon strip needs to be completely flat and keep parallel with the tube core, so that the edge of the carbon strip will have an average force and is not easy to break during the printing process. If the carbon tape rewinding is not smooth, the carbon tape will produce creases in the printing process, showing white lines, indentation and other problems of poor printing.
