About washing method ICONS (usually five) :
1. hand washing machine washing condition parameters; 2. Condition parameters of bleaching; 3. Ironing condition parameters; 4. Dry cleaning condition parameters; 5. Condition parameters of drying and twisting
The ICONS and what they represent are as follows:
These ICONS are similar and numerous, which many people find difficult to remember. In fact, these ICONS are not arbitrary. Once you understand how they work, the rest will be easy to remember.
For example, wool is not suitable for machine washing because it will accelerate felting when subjected to force (e.g., the Poke principle).
You can’t bleach the wool because it will turn yellow.
Do not bleach cotton fiber, because it will reduce the strength of the fiber, brittle and hard.
Viscose fibers have very low wet strength and flax fibers are rigid and easy to slip, so they should be marked with a gentle twist to prevent fuzz or cracking.
Knitwear or sweater hanging will stretch the garment, so be sure to label it flat to dry.
Silkworm silk color fastness is not high, the sun will make clothes fade, so only marked in the shade to dry.
Chemical fiber is not heat resistant and must be ironed with cloth.
