A) Carbon ribbons are not suitable for this kind of paper.
In general, when using resin carbon tape to print coated paper labels, because the material and carbon tape are not well matched, then you have to adjust the printer concentration to the highest, and then adjust the printing speed to the lowest, so that you can print out the content again. When the printer concentration is too low or not high enough, there will be words on the carbon belt, no words on the paper.
In other words, you should change the appropriate carbon tape or turn up the printer’s concentration when this happens.
B) The direction of the carbon plane of the carbon belt is incorrectly placed.
Bar code printers usually use carbon outside the carbon belt, put the carbon belt, you need to pay attention to make the carbon surface of the carbon belt and the outer surface of the paper. Because if you put the carbon face in, when the carbon doesn’t touch the surface of the paper, you’re going to have words on the carbon and no words on the paper.
Solution: Learn to use the correct carbon belt device or replace the outer carbon belt.
C) Printer concentration and speed are not correct.
Usually when we use resin carbon belt to print PET, PE material or synthetic paper, the transfer temperature required by this type of data in transfer will be relatively high, so when the bar code printer concentration is adjusted to be relatively low or not high enough, there will be words on the carbon belt, and there is no word on the paper. At this point, you should turn up the printer’s concentration.
