MARKING MECHANICAL PARTS
Printing resistant to hostile environments
Whether during production or use, mechanical parts are subjected to very high and extremely varied constraints: grease/oil, heat, abrasion, vibration, solvents, humidity, exterior conditions such as UV exposure etc.
Printed matter is subjected to various forms of attack capable of causing damage to the point of being unable to read the part’s identification and traceability information. An erased barcode can cause complications throughout the product life cycle: manufacture, servicing, warranty and recycling.
CISON ribbons for marking mechanical parts
Thermal Transfer print technology makes no compromises: capable of marking individual parts, of printing all types of barcodes (vertical, horizontal, 2D, datamatrix, etc) as well as logos and texts, and finally of offering an ink with the required resistance level for the part’s particular environment of use.
The range of Thermal Transfer ribbons from CISON is the best solution for the demands of high print durability. The Resin-based ink offers printing of very high durability and excellent legibility, even for small characters and barcodes. It is compatible with all types of coated paper and synthetic print media.
Where a higher level of resistance is required, notably to solvents,resin-based products are the alternatives recommended for synthetic labels.
